What is Looply & How Does It Work?

Looply is an AI-powered outbound workspace that turns buyer intent signals into warm sales conversations. Instead of guessing who may be interested, Looply helps monitor intent signals, qualify prospects against an ICP, launch controlled cold email campaigns, and manage replies in one workspace. Optional connector workflows, including LinkedIn-specific features where available, are documented separately. The Looply workflow (simple version) Looply works in 4 steps: 1. Your AI Agents monitor intent signals They scan for signals like: - Job changes - Funding rounds - Hiring surges - Competitor engagement - Content engagement on LinkedIn - People matching your ICP and showing activity around relevant topics 2. Warm prospects are added to your workspace Looply helps qualify people against your ICP, enriches their contact profile, and organizes them into the right lists or campaigns. These are not random cold lists. They are prospects showing signals that make outreach more timely and relevant. 3. You launch controlled outreach campaigns from Looply - Qualified prospect selection - Email sequence steps - Reply-aware follow-ups - AI-assisted personalization with operator review - Sender schedules and pacing controls 4. Conversations start in your inbox Replies come back into Looply so you can track context, manage follow-ups, and keep the conversation moving without jumping between tools. The goal is warmer, more natural conversations, not cold blasts. Why people use Looply Looply is built for: - Founders who need more warm conversations - Sales teams that want more demos from high-intent prospects - Agencies and operators who want a repeatable outbound workflow for clients - Teams that want to connect intent signals, campaigns, and replies in one workspace Instead of - Scraping random lists - Sending the same cold pitch to everyone - Guessing who is in-market - Managing prospects, campaigns, and replies across disconnected tools You use - Real intent signals - ICP-based qualification - Timely LinkedIn outreach - One workspace for warm leads, campaigns, and inbox workflows Looply helps you focus outreach on people who are more likely to care right now, then gives your team the workflow to turn those signals into conversations.

Your First 15 Minutes with Looply (Quick Start Guide)

This is the fastest way to see value from Looply. Watch the full video or follow the steps below. 💡 Use the checklist below to complete the initial Looply setup. | Step | Goal | Time | |---|---|---| | Connect LinkedIn sender | Make sure Looply can run outreach from the right account. | 5 min | | Define ICP and signals | Tell your AI Agent who to watch and what intent to monitor. | 5 min | | Create first campaign | Choose an AI-assisted or manual LinkedIn sequence. | 3 min | | Review leads and replies | Use the workspace and inbox to turn signals into conversations. | 5 min | Step 1 — Connect your LinkedIn account (5 min) Looply uses your connected LinkedIn sender to run outreach from the right account, inside the schedules and pacing controls you choose. 1. Follow onboarding, or go to Senders from your Looply workspace. 2. Connect the LinkedIn account you want to use for outreach. 3. If LinkedIn asks for a verification code or security check, complete it manually before continuing. 💡 Security note: use Looply's official secure LinkedIn connection flow. Looply does not ask you to use unofficial session workarounds. This is the most common setup issue for new users. If connection fails, check: - You are connecting the correct LinkedIn account. - You are using a stable login location, with no sudden VPN or travel change. - LinkedIn has not sent a prompt by email, mobile app, SMS, or 2FA app. - No other LinkedIn automation tool or risky browser extension is trying to use the same account at the same time. Step 2 — Define your ICP and choose your signals (5 min) Your ICP and signals tell your AI Agent who to watch and why someone might be worth contacting now. Go to: Agents & Signals → Create AI Agent. Examples of useful signals: - Job changes - Funding rounds - Hiring surges - Competitor engagement - Content engagement on LinkedIn - People matching your ICP and showing activity around relevant topics You can define your ICP, add new signals, remove unneeded signals, and adjust targeting at any time as you learn which prospects convert best. Step 3 — Create your first campaign (3 min) Now tell Looply what should happen when the right leads are detected. Go to: Campaigns → Create. Option 1: AI-assisted campaign (recommended) Use this when you want the fastest path to a clear LinkedIn sequence. Looply can help use your ICP, offer, and intent context to shape the campaign. - Best for speed - Best for first-time users - Best when you want Looply to help with structure, tone, and timing Option 2: Manual campaign Use this when you want full control over the sequence, copy, delays, and follow-up logic. - Connection requests - Follow-ups - Reply-aware sequences - AI-personalized messages - Sender schedules and pacing controls 💡 Recommended first campaign: keep the first version simple. One clear audience, one clear reason to connect, and a short follow-up flow will teach you faster than a complex sequence. Step 4 — Go to your inbox and lead workspace (5 min) Once your agent starts running, qualified prospects and replies begin flowing back into Looply. 💡 Looply works like a radar. It can take a few minutes to find the first leads, and some signals may take longer depending on your market and targeting. From here you can: - Filter by signal - Add qualified people to a list - Launch or adjust a campaign - Enrich contact profiles where available - Reject poor fits before they enter your workflow - Manage replies from the inbox without jumping between tools This is the aha moment: seeing people who already show relevant activity, then turning that timing into a warmer conversation. By the end of your first 15 minutes, Looply should be connected, watching the right market, and ready to turn intent signals into warm conversations.

What Results Should I Expect (And When)?

When will I see leads? Most users should start seeing their first warm prospects within a few minutes once setup is complete. In some markets, it can take up to 24 hours for the first useful results to appear. Before judging results, make sure: - Your LinkedIn sender is connected and healthy. - Your ICP is defined clearly. - At least 4 intent signals are active. - Your market is large enough for Looply to monitor meaningful activity. 💡 High-volume niches can surface results in minutes. Narrow markets, senior personas, or very specific signal combinations can take longer. You can review the latest agent activity from Agents & Signals by opening the agent and checking recent launches, signal matches, and created leads. How many warm leads should I expect? Lead volume depends on your market, ICP, selected signals, filter strictness, and how active your audience is on LinkedIn. The main variables are: - Your market size - Your ICP - The signals selected - How strict your qualification rules are - How active your audience is on LinkedIn | Setup | What To Expect | Why | |---|---|---| | Narrow ICP | Lower volume, higher relevance | Looply has fewer people to watch, but quality should be tighter. | | Broad ICP | Higher volume, more filtering needed | More people match, so you may need stronger review and qualification. | | High-volume niche | Results can appear quickly | There is more market activity for Looply to detect. | | Early setup | Expect tuning | The first 48 hours teach you which signals and filters are strongest. | Some teams may see a few qualified prospects per day. Others may see dozens or more, depending on criteria. The right benchmark is not only volume; it is whether the leads are relevant enough to start better conversations. 💡 Common mistake: expecting instant demos. Looply improves timing and relevance, but it does not replace a strong offer, good copy, or clear targeting. You still need: - A strong offer - Clear targeting - Good messaging - Consistent follow-up - A stable LinkedIn sender setup If you see no leads or targeting looks wrong after 48 hours If you do not see useful leads after 48 hours, check the setup before changing everything at once. Start with these checks: - Is your LinkedIn sender connected and healthy? - Are at least 4 useful intent signals active? - Is your ICP too narrow? - Are job titles, geography, company size, or keywords too restrictive? - Are your signals aligned with real buyer behavior? - Are you filtering out good-fit prospects too early? Tune the setup in this order: 1. Open Agents & Signals. 2. Review recent agent activity and signal results. 3. Broaden one filter or add one signal at a time. 4. Wait for the next run before judging the change. 5. Contact support if you are still stuck. 💡 If you are stuck, open the support chat and we can help tune your ICP, signals, and first campaign settings. The goal is not to flood your workspace with random names. The goal is to find enough high-intent, ICP-fit prospects to create warmer conversations with better timing.

Looply vs Traditional Prospecting Tools

Here is the main difference: traditional prospecting tools help you search static contact lists. Looply watches the buying signals you choose, scores each person against your ideal customer profile and turns the best matches into personalized cold email campaigns sent from your own connected senders. | Traditional Prospecting | Looply | |---|---| | Static contact lists | **Live buying signals** | | Manual lead searches | **Agents that find people from the signals you choose** | | The same email sent to large lists | **Signal-led cold email from your own connected senders** | | Guesswork targeting | **Scoring against your ideal customer profile** | | Manual enrichment | **Built-in email enrichment** | | Generic outreach | **Personalized AI email drafts** | | Multiple disconnected tools | **One workspace for signals, campaigns and replies** | | Manual lead prioritization | **Prioritization by ICP fit and signal timing** | Traditional Prospecting Most traditional prospecting tools focus on finding names first, then asking the sales team to decide whether the timing is right. That usually means: - Exporting contact lists - Searching databases manually - Filtering leads by static firmographic criteria - Sending the same cold email to large static lists - Enriching and prioritizing leads by hand - Moving between several disconnected tools 💡 This can work, but it often creates repetitive manual work and weaker timing. You may have contact data, but not a strong reason to reach out now. How Looply Works Looply uses AI agents to help you move from static lists to signal-led cold email. Looply helps you: - Watch the LinkedIn signals you choose - Find prospects automatically when timing looks stronger - Qualify people against your ICP - Prioritize warmer opportunities - Organize leads into the right lists and campaigns - Launch personalized cold email campaigns from your own connected senders - Manage replies and follow-ups from one workspace Instead of only searching static databases, Looply’s agents watch for: - People engaging with your LinkedIn company page or your own profile - People engaging with LinkedIn posts about topics you choose - People engaging with posts from profiles you choose, such as industry voices - People engaging with competitor LinkedIn pages you choose - People who moved into a role you sell to in the last 90 days - Your contacts at companies that just raised funding 💡 The shift is simple: do not start with a random list and hope the timing is right. Start with signals, qualify against your ICP, then reach out while the context is still fresh. Looply Does NOT Replace Your CRM Looply is not designed to replace your CRM. Your CRM remains the system of record for pipeline, accounts, opportunities, and closed-won reporting. Looply sits alongside: - Your CRM, through Looply’s CRM integrations - Your outbound workflows - CRM handoff processes - Lead enrichment workflows - Sales-team follow-up and qualification 💡 The goal is to automate and optimize the prospecting process, not replace your entire revenue system. Looply helps you find better-timed conversations, then your sales stack carries the relationship forward.

AI Chat: How It Works

AI Chat is a Looply assistant designed to help with lead generation, campaign analysis, ICP refinement, and outreach assistance. Because this feature is still experimental, functionality, usage limits, and pricing may change over time as we continue improving it. 💡 AI Chat is best used as an assistant, not an autopilot. Review important recommendations before using them in live campaigns or customer conversations. How It Works Daily Usage Quota Your workspace may have a daily AI Chat usage quota depending on your plan and current product settings. When limits apply, Looply shows the available usage inside the product. Usage can be consumed when: - You send messages to AI Chat. - AI Chat returns analysis, recommendations, or generated copy. - You import or act on leads found through AI Chat where usage-based actions apply. Usage quotas can reset automatically based on the limits currently configured for your workspace. Additional Usage If you run out before the next reset, Looply may offer additional usage through credits or plan-based allowances. 💡 Pricing, quotas, and credit rules are still experimental and may change as AI Chat evolves.
